Southeast baseball meets Jacksonville State in elimination game

The Southeast Missouri State baseball team will face No. 3 Jacksonville State in an elimination game at noon Saturday after No. 2 Tennessee Tech handed Southeast a 9-2 loss on Friday. You can read more about Friday's game here.

The Redhawks defeated No. 6 Eastern Illinois 8-6 on Thursday.

If the Redhawks beat Jacksonville State, they will play Tech at 4 p.m.

If Southeast were to win both games on Saturday it would force a winner-take-all game at noon on Sunday against Tech.

Game 7--No. 3 Jacksonville State 7, No. 5 Morehead State 1 (Morehead State eliminated)

Game 8--Tennessee Tech 9, Southeast 2

Saturday:

Game 9--No. 3 Jacksonville State vs. No. 1 Southeast, noon

Game 10--Winner of Game 8 vs. Winner of Game 9, 4 p.m.

Sunday (if necessary):

Game 11--Winner of Game 10 vs. Loser of Game 10, noon
