Minor represents SEMO women's soccer as OVC Offensive Player of the Week

Senior forward Natasha Minor scored four goals in two matches last week for the Southeast Missouri State women's soccer team, earning her honors as the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Minor netted her first career hat trick in Wednesday's 4-1 win at home over Union University before scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 shutout against Florida Atlantic on Sunday.

The De Pere, Wisconsin, native scored the game winner against Union in the 14th minute, finishing with a career-high eight shots. She provided the game winner against FAU on a header from a corner kick. Minor played a combined total of 137 minutes of action in both games.

Minor leads the conference this season with seven goals while also leading in shots (25), game-winning goals (3), points (14) and points per game (2).

The player of the week honor is the second of Minor's career. She has 22 goals in her career, placing her fourth on Southeast's all-time list. Minor's eight game winners are tied for third all-time, while her 13 assists are good enough to tie for fifth. She has 57 career points, putting her fourth on the all-time list.

It's the program's first offensive player of the week award since Oct. 21, 2014, when Breana Beine earned the accolade.
