Southeast football team receives votes in Sports Network poll

The Sports Network FCS Top 25 and the FCS coaches poll were both released today, and the Redhawks received votes in the Sports Network poll for the second week in a row.
The Redhawks had four points in this week's voting. They received seven points in last week's poll. Eastern Kentucky received 142 points this week.
Jacksonville State remains No. 9 in the poll, Tennessee State dropped eight spots to No. 22 and Eastern Illinois moved from No. 16 to the final spot in the poll.
JSU is No. 8 in the FCS coaches poll, TSU is No. 22, EIU is No. 24 and EKU moves into the poll at No. 25.
Southeast's next two opponents are ranked in both Top 25 polls.
The Redhawks face Southern Illinois on Saturday. The Salukis moved into the Sports Network poll at No. 20 after defeating EIU 38-21 on Saturday. SIU moved up 11 spots to No. 14 in the FCS Coaches poll.
Southeastern Louisiana, which the Redhawks host on Sept. 20, remains at No. 3 in both polls.
