Bradley repeats as OVC Newcomer of the Week

Southeast Missouri State junior forward Jarekious Bradley was named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week for the fourth consecutive week and the fifth time this season.

He scored a game-high 28 points, shooting 10 of 16 from the floor and 6 of 7 on free throws, and collected nine rebounds in Southeast's 75-69 loss to the University of Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.

"I thought Jarekious Bradley was a horse," Southeast coach Dickey Nutt said after the loss. "I thought he was just as solid and good as he could be tonight."

Bradley's averaging 19.5 points per game and 7.7 rebounds.

It could be the best season in a decade for the SEMO men's basketball team. One has to admire the work coach Nutt is doing at SEMO.

Agreed, Dustin. Moving in the right direction. The next step is to get Josh Langford on the court and in the rotation. Also minimize performances like this past Saturday which is a game they shoulda/coulda won.
