The annual Missouri State Horseshoe Tournament was held over Labor Day weekend in Lebanon, Missouri. Fifteen members of the Backyard Horseshoe Club who also happen to be members of the SEMO Horseshoe Association brought home a total of 12 trophies from the weekend.

In Walking Doubles "C" Class: James Hillis - 1st Place; "D" Class: Melody Williams - 1st Place and Edgar Stoverink - 2nd Place.

In Woman's Classes: Juniors Championship: Kelcee DaVault -- State Champion, "B" Class: Terrie Rose - 1st Place and "D" Class: Sheila LeGrand - 3rd Place.

In Men's Classes: "A" Class: Ronnie LeGrand - 3rd Place; "C" Class: Mike Massa - 3rd Place; "E" Class: Mike DaVault - 1st Place, Danny Williams - 2nd Place; "G" Class: Edgar Stoverink - 3rd Place; and "J" Class: Joe Keller - 2nd Place.

The Backyard Horseshoe Club, owned by Danny and Melody Williams, hold Missouri State Sanctioned Tournaments year round. The SEMO Horseshoe Association holds tournaments from April to October.
