Rachel Crader is the editor of semoball.com. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May of 2009 before spending the summer covering the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Highlights from Rachel's days in college include having a class down the hall from Chase Daniel and having NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren hold the door open for her at Brady Commons, Mizzou's student center. She spent time covering Mizzou basketball, softball and baseball while working for the Columbia Missourian and is excited to return home to Southeast Missouri to cover local sports for semoball.com.

Rachel has covered three Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournaments for the Southeast Missourian and semoball.com, and she'll see you courtside again this year.

Here are the seeds of the 2013 SEMO Conference baseball tournament:

1. Jackson

2. Notre Dame

3. Poplar Bluff

4. Sikeston

5. Kennett

6. Dexter

7. New Madrid County Central

8. Cape Central

The higher seeds will host first-round games on Monday after games were postponed on Friday. All games are scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

Game No. 1: Cape Central at Jackson

Game No. 2: New Madrid at Notre Dame

Game No. 3: Dexter at Poplar Bluff

Game No. 4: Kennett at Sikeston

As of Friday afternoon, the schedule and locations for the rest of the tournament games had not been determined, but here are rest of the games to be played.

Game No. 5: Loser Game No. 2 vs. Loser Game No. 3

Game No. 6: Loser Game No. 1 vs. Loser Game No. 4

Game No. 7: Loser Game No. 5 vs. Loser Game No. 6

Game No. 8: Winner Game No. 2 vs. Winner Game No. 3

Game No. 9: Winner Game No. 1 vs. Winner Game No. 4

I think Sikeston and Kennett will play at 4:30 on Monday.

One has to wonder where they might play the tournament if it keeps raining like it is raining right now.

capeballer....I call games for Sikeston and when we have played Cape and Jackson I have never seen a station there doing either team. Not saying there might be now, but I don't know of one broadcasting for either team.
