Team's strengths: We have good defense and the girls get along well. They play together as a team

Team's goals: Offense. Our goal is to become better batters

Describe your team in three words: Hard working

Conference: Scott-Mississippi

Class & District: Class 1 District 4

Last season's record: 17-1

2017 postseason result: Lost district championship to Scott City, 11-9

Seniors graduated: Zero

Team's strengths: Speed, defense and pitching -- maybe not in that order. With our pitching and defense we should be able to keep our opponents pretty close. We also have some speed in the lineup and on the bench

Team's goals: Like any season we hope to be competitive with the power teams in the area. We need to limit mistakes on the field and not beat ourselves. We want to win, but we also want to see some development and improvement in our younger players to keep the pipeline moving

How did your team prepare in the offseason?: Several players were on summer teams which played all over the Midwest

Describe your team in three words: Hungry, determined, feisty
