Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: I get to my goal quicker

Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: There is a certain intensity to it that feels like nothing else

What has been your greatest accomplishment as an athlete?: Using my God given abilities to inspire the next generation of Christian athletes as an FCA power camp leader

Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: Running offers me a way to challenge myself to become the best person I can be. The virtues of endurance, mental toughness and guts are found in the sport.

What has been your greatest accomplishment as an athlete?: Winning the 2016 state championship with my team and going back to state again this year (finishing 18th)
What has been your greatest disappointment as an athlete?: Suffering from shin splints most of my track career

Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: Running pushes me to be the best I can be every single day
Running is: the talent I believe God has given me to bring glory to Him. And the opportunity to have a second family while doing what I love!

One thing most people don't understand about cross country running is: Running is about endurance and our practices consist of more than just going on runs, we do core, weightlifting, speed and interval workouts and practice our hills
Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: My coaches and teammates who always inspire and push me to challenge myself
Running is: faster and much more fun than walking but slightly more painful

Favorite memory of the season: The moment I crossed the finish line at sectionals and told Kennedy Bauer we were going to state together. We gave each other a huge hug and started crying.

What has been your greatest accomplishment as an athlete?: This past season as a whole. I pushed myself harder than I ever had and didn't give up when it got hard. I learned how to be mentally tough regardless of the situation.
What has been your greatest disappointment as an athlete?: The little injuries/pains I've had through the years, but they've taught me how to persevere

One thing most people don't understand about cross country running is: How much of a mental sport it is. Anyone can go the distance, but you have to be mentally tough to push on when it gets hard.
Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: My coaches, teammates and family inspire me to run and I love the feeling after a hard work out or race
Running is: One of my favorite ways to pass time. It's where I make the most memories with my team and do most of my thinking.
