GIRLS TENNIS

The Kennett varsity girls tennis team placed first in team competition at the Waynesville Tournament Friday.

Kennett’s Heidi Shetley and Hadley Hilburn placed first in the No. 1 doubles bracket.

Kennett’s Sydni McAtee and Darcy Campbell placed first in the No. 2 doubles bracket.

Kennett’s Kayton Harris placed second in the No. 2 singles bracket.

Kennett’s Anna Beth Williams placed third in the No. 1 singles bracket.

Kennett returns to action Tuesday at 4 p.m. when it hosts its district semifinal.

CROSS COUNTRY

Kennett’s Kobe Patterson secured an eighth place finished and received a medal at the Van Buren Invitational Wednesday.

Kennettt returns to action Oct. 1 when it competes at the Notre Dame meet at 10 a.m.
