Matthew Westrich of Cape Girardeau recently participated in the 15U USA Baseball National Team Identification Series evaluation held in St. Louis on July 26th.

Westrich was selected to compete as a player for Team Missouri in the USA Baseball Midwest Regional NTIS event to be held August 19-21.

At the midwest event players representing five midwest states will vie for one of 16 spots to advance to the USA Baseball national team trials to be held in Cary, NC on September 9-11.
