When was the last time Jackson was 3-0 to start a season?
I think that would be 2007.
the class 3 rankings just go to show how big of a joke these are...
The Daddy
Care to elaborate on your thoughts? I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how the teams should be ranked in Class 3, however.
I will elaborate for you (I know Daddy would say pretty much what I'll say here): THERE IS NO WAY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH potosi DESERVES 11 POINTS IN THE STATE RANKING POLL! Other than that, it's fine.
yea... exactly what mojo said. WHO has potosi beaten to get a state ranking? or even one vote? for one, they beat confluence who has only beaten missouri military academy and wentworth academy the past 2 seasons. not really the greatest competition if you know anything about those other two football programs. two, potosi beat pacific, who has won 3 games the past 2 seasons, including this one. again, pacific isn't the "big test of the year" for potosi. i would bet the farm that potosi WILL NOT win more than one more game this year. even if it was fredericktown that was ranked number 10 in the poll i'd be asking how. if anyone besides SG deserves to be in there it is park hills. they lost to a GOOD sullivan team and beat freddy at home in overtime. fredericktown has always been tough to beat at home(except for 2009). the only team i have seen play in person so far in the poll is cassville (hard to see anyone in class 3 living in springfield) and they are the real deal, but i've seen most of the other schools on tape (via news, youtube, ect.) and potosi does not even compare to the other teams that received votes. those are my thoughts on it...
