Rachel Crader is the editor of semoball.com. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May of 2009 before spending the summer covering the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Highlights from Rachel's days in college include having a class down the hall from Chase Daniel and having NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren hold the door open for her at Brady Commons, Mizzou's student center. She spent time covering Mizzou basketball, softball and baseball while working for the Columbia Missourian and is excited to return home to Southeast Missouri to cover local sports for semoball.com.

Rachel has covered three Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournaments for the Southeast Missourian and semoball.com, and she'll see you courtside again this year.

Otto Porter speaks about Georgetown

Scott County Central senior Otto Porter is in North Carolina to participate in the Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday.

While he is there he is keeping a daily diary for slamonline.com. Apparently he is relaying his thoughts to someone who is typing them up, for what it's worth.

Here is an excerpt from his first entry, which was posted Wednesday afternoon.

"I recently verbally committed to Georgetown and Coach John Thompson III. I really liked the coaching staff and the system. I think it will be a great opportunity for me to play at a school with such great tradition and help lead the next generation of Georgetown basketball."

Crader, I am a little disappointed. I was expecting a "Cover It Live" on this game :), but I would think you are slightly dissed that he is not going to Mizzou.
