Rachel Crader is the editor of semoball.com. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May of 2009 before spending the summer covering the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Highlights from Rachel's days in college include having a class down the hall from Chase Daniel and having NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren hold the door open for her at Brady Commons, Mizzou's student center. She spent time covering Mizzou basketball, softball and baseball while working for the Columbia Missourian and is excited to return home to Southeast Missouri to cover local sports for semoball.com.

Rachel has covered three Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournaments for the Southeast Missourian and semoball.com, and she'll see you courtside again this year.

MVC Tourney, Jackson vs. Kennett, etc.

The finals of the Mississippi Valley Conference Tournament will be played Wednesday night at Greenville High School after being postponed by snow a couple weeks back.

Leopold and Zalma will play for third place at 5:30 p.m. then Chaffee and Oak Ridge will face off for a third time this season for the championship game at 8:30 p.m. The teams split their previous meetings. Chaffee defeated Oak Ridge in the consolation final at the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament while the Blue Jays won on their homecoming Friday night.

Leopold and Zalma will be facing each other on back-to-back nights. The teams are playing a regular-season game tonight (Tuesday).

The Jackson and Kennett boys have added a game to their schedules and will play each other at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19. at Jackson.

The Meadow Heights girls will play their makeup game at Scott City on Feb. 22.
