Rachel Crader is the editor of semoball.com. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May of 2009 before spending the summer covering the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Highlights from Rachel's days in college include having a class down the hall from Chase Daniel and having NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren hold the door open for her at Brady Commons, Mizzou's student center. She spent time covering Mizzou basketball, softball and baseball while working for the Columbia Missourian and is excited to return home to Southeast Missouri to cover local sports for semoball.com.

How to get your school's spring sports results/schedules/rosters on semoball

I don't know about all of you, but I watched Albert Pujols hit a home run on TV on Monday afternoon and all felt right with the world.

That's not the point of this blog, although we will get to the Cardinals soon enough. I just couldn't start writing about anything related to spring sports without having a flashback to my first glimpse of Albert's swing in months.

Here is the point:

We've been racing against the clock to get high school spring sports results, schedules and rosters up on semoball after the winter/spring overlap came to a merciful end. You may have noticed all of the new schedules and rosters going up over the last couple weeks. Shout out to clerks Amber, Cassie and Jordan for their hard work. (Are shout outs cool anymore? Or did I just embarrass the clerks with my nerdiness?)

If your team's schedule or roster has not been added to the site yet, please e-mail it to me at rcrader@semissourian.com or fax it to me at 573-334-7288 and I'll get it added as soon as possible. (We're still working on a small stack of schedules we've already received.)

The Semoball Scoreboard is also back with high school baseball and softball scores and boxes that are posted as soon as I receive them throughout the afternoon and evening. Hopefully we'll be able to add more sports soon. (To be clear, though, all results from all sports that we or our partners get are posted on semoball. It's just a little challenging to post abbreviated/boxscore-type track results five minutes after we get them. Haha.)

If your team isn't being included, please consider becoming a TeamTracker. You can read all about our TeamTrackers here. The results you report -- from any and all sports -- will be displayed on the front page just like the scoreboard.

The TeamTracker form that you will be asked to complete after each game are great in that you can provide very little information on it (like say just the inning-by-inning and final score for baseball or just the team scores for track and field) or a whole lot of information (like how each run was scored, the pitchers line and a photo for baseball or where each individual athlete finished in each event for track). It's up to you. We just want to be able to share whatever information you have. Sign up here.

I really wish everyone would submit a roster for their team. It would be great if I could post names instead of numbers when I go to games. I really wish I had a name to go with number for the really good pitcher for Malden. Very good pitcher. I know I should probably know his name but I don't. I cannot remember everything.

The scoreboard is awesome. The scores on semoball are almost always posted before the scores on any other website. I obtain scores from semoball every night.

I'm excited about baseball season. Baseball is my favorite sport with the exception of volleyball. Volleyball will always be my favorite sport. But baseball is really awesome. I'm not saying I don't like basketball. But basketball is the most stressful sport to watch, report, play and coach. I like stress. But I think we all need less stress in our lives this time of the year. I know I do.

Get the rosters in. I want the rosters. It would also be really awesome if I had baseball schedules for all of the semoball schools. Submit schedules. I cannot attend games if I do not know when your team is playing. And I would love to watch all of the semoball schools play a baseball game this spring. I wonder if that's a realistic goal?

HaHa one final note . . . fantasy baseball is really awesome. I've got a few Cardinals on the three teams I have drafted this spring. It should be interesting to see what happens this year. Last year I played in three fantasy baseball leagues. I won two fantasy league baseball championships. I'm not optimistic I will win two championships this season. But I hope I win at least one. I don't have Pujols on any of my teams. But I managed to draft one of the Cardinals most popular starting pitchers on two of my teams.

Could you tell me the date of the article stating girls bball conference player of the year? I can't find it anywhere. More specifically Scott-Miss?
