The Malden baseball team run-ruled Clarkton 12-2 Wednesday.

Clarkton led 2-1 until Malden scored eight runs in the bottom of the second inning to move ahead 9-2 and never trailed after.

Ethan Campbell finished 3 for 3 with one RBI, Dylan Bader was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs, Zach Wiseman was 1 for 3 with two RBIs and Trey Miller finished 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs for Malden.

Easton Randle allowed two earned runs, struck out three, and walked two in two innings pitched for Malden. Jon Stewart pitched two scoreless innings and Miller pitched one scoreless inning for Malden.

Malden (4-1) hosts Holcomb, Risco, and Charleston Saturday.
