CHARLESTON, Mo. — Charleston senior defensive back Brian Visor signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and football career at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.

Visor recorded 28 tackles, 16 solo tackles, four interceptions, and 15 pass breakups his senior season with the Bluejays.

From his freshman to his senior year, Charleston head coach Justin Hutchings said that Visor's growth showed.

“His growth has been astronomical,” Hutchings said. “He went from not much playing time his freshman and sophomore years to leading the team in picks his junior year and being a team captain and a big part of our defense his senior year. Not many people would throw his side, and he never backed down from anyone. He was a great, young man that other kids could look up to and learn from.”

Moving to college football, Hutchings said that he’s looking forward to seeing Visor’s development, and believes he will be a great coverage defender but will need to gain weight and continue to work hard.
