Genevieve beat Potosi 20-14 in Week 4, Potosi beat Fredericktown 24-21 in Week 5, Park Hills beat Potosi 38-15 in Week 6, New Madrid County Central beat Potosi 38-36 in Week 7, Potosi beat North County 14-6 in Week 8, Potosi beat DeSoto 20-14 in Week 9, and Potosi beat Perryville 20-14 in Week 10. Potosi quarterback Andrew Coleman has completed 28 of 58 passes for 514 yards and rushed the ball 23 times for 69 yards. He has thrown two touchdowns passes, four interceptions, and rushed for six touchdowns. Isaac Gaghan has 107 carries for a team-high 1,003 yards. Wade Mercille has a team-high 150 runs for 806 yards. Brayden Isgriggs, who has 88 carries for 459 yards, has a team-high seven rushing touchdowns. Kyle Miller has caught a team-high 15 passes for 207 yards. Gaghan has seven catches for 173 yards. Gaghan has a team-high 76 tackles on defense.

ABOUT KENNETT: Kennett, which is ranked No. 5 in the latest Class 3 state poll, beat Fredericktown 49-0 in Week 1, beat Gosnell (Ark.) 44-8 in Week 2, beat Ste. Genevieve 33-0 in Week 3, beat Caruthersville 41-22 in Week 4, beat North County 45-6 in Week 5, beat New Madrid County Central 50-6 in Week 6, beat Dexter 56-6 in Week 7, beat Malden 51-0 in Week 8, beat Sikeston 36-0 in Week 9, and beat Doniphan 56-0 in Week 10. Kennett is coming off its most impressive passing performance of the season. Kennett quarterback Bodey Ellis threw touchdown passes to Jordan Jarrett, Jake Stewart, and Marsayv’aun Harrell in the first quarter, helping the Indians build a 30-0 lead against Doniphan by the start of the second period last week. Ellis, who completed all of his passes before halftime, finished 13 of 17 passing for 186 yards against Doniphan. Seven different receivers caught at least one pass for Ellis in the first half with Williams, Stewart, and Carter Maddox each making three receptions. Kennett is a run-first squad that has rushed the ball 343 times for 3,174 yards and passed the ball for 742 yards this season. Harrell has a team-high 130 carries for 1,438 yards and 21 rushing touchdowns this season. Jarrett has also been a threat on the ground with 46 carries for 575 yards and nine rushing touchdowns. Ellis has 53 carries for 376 yards. Ellis has completed 36 of 70 passes for 588 yards. He has thrown two interceptions, 11 touchdown passes, and rushed for seven touchdowns. Maddox has a team-high 11 receptions for 113 yards. Joquan Williams, who has seven catches for 174 yards, is a threat to catch a deep pass. Harrell has five catches for 124 yards and a team-high four touchdown receptions. Tanner Duncan has seven catches for 102 yards and Stewart has six catches for 53 yards. The Kennett defense, which allows six points per game, has forced 30 turnovers this season.

ABOUT MALDEN: New Madrid County Central beat Malden 65-18 in Week 1, Caruthersville beat Malden 54-6 in Week 2, Malden beat Portageville 48-12 in Week 3, Kelly beat Malden 35-14 in Week 4, East Prairie beat Malden 35-30 in Week 5, Hayti beat Malden 56-14 in Week 6, Charleston beat Malden 28-20 in Week 7, Kennett beat Malden 51-0 in Week 8, Malden beat Dexter 20-0 in Week 9, and Malden beat Charleston 18-13 in Week 10. Three of Malden’s 10 games have come down to the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. Malden scored a go-ahead touchdown with 5:11 left in regulation to win at Charleston last week. The Green Wave have moved the ball primarily in the air in its last two games. Quarterback Shay Amoss completed 18 of 42 passes for 262 yards last week against Charleston and completed 10 of 23 passes for 145 yards the week before against Dexter. Drew Blankinship is the Green Wave’s top receiver. Blankinship has 16 catches for 198 yards, including five touchdowns receptions over the past two weeks. Coy Wade, who is a threat to make a deep catch or return a kickoff for a touchdown, caught a 49-yard touchdown pass last week. Blankinship has a team-high 19 carries for 61 yards over the last two weeks. Amoss and Lamar Smith are also threats to carry the ball for the Green Wave.
