Dexter relay team breaks own record; Nea wins two events at Sikeston Invitational track meet
Dexter’s boys 4x200-meter relay team broke its own record, and Margo Nea won two events at the Sikeston Bulldog Invitational track and field meet Tuesday at Sikeston Public Schools Stadium.
Cole Barker, Austin Guy, Seth Rogers and Drew Soule placed second in 1 minute, 32.89 seconds, beating the record they set April 12 of 1:33.88.
Nea won the 1600 in 5:34.11 and the 800 in 2:32.40.
Dexter’s girls placed seventh in the 16-team meet with 43 points. Notre Dame won with 153.
Dexter’s boys finished eighth with 40 points. Kennett won with 139.
