Kennett golf team places second at opening quad

KENNETT, Mo. - The Kennett high school golf team earned a second-place finish in its opening quad Tuesday afternoon at Kennett Country Club.

Kennett (179) was led by Jack McHaney, Hayden Faulkner, and Joe Wilson who all shot 43 at the nine-hole event. Jonathan Jain and Will Johnson posted 50 for Kennett.

Dexter (151) recorded the top team score. Sikeston (202) was third.

Spencer Warren earned medalist honors for Dexter with a 35.
