Notre Dame alum Allison Bray tied for 19th after first day of Prairie Invitational golf tournament

Notre Dame alumnus Allison Bray is tied for 19th overall after one round at the Prairie Invitational on Monday at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills, Kansas.

Bray, who finished second at the 2017 MSHSAA Girls Golf State Championship and will begin her collegiate golf career this fall at Missouri State, shot an 8-over-par 78 on Day 1 of the event, which is contested across three days and is included in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. The field is cut to the low 18 players after today's competition, with a final round Wednesday.

Reagan Zibilski, a 14-year-old from Nixa, Missouri, leads the field at 1-over 71.

Bray will tee off at 8:30 a.m. today.
