River-to-River Relay: Former SEMO athletes take crown

The River to River Race is an eight-man relay foot race in Southern Illinois.
The race starts near Wolf Lake near Highway 3 which parallels the Mississippi River and proceeds 80 miles East over lightly traveled country roads up large hills and down into valleys ending at Golconda near the Ohio River.
The winning teams name, "The Has Beens," is composed of former track and cross country athletes at Southeast Missouri State University. The race was held on
Saturday, April 21, 2018 in beautiful sunny mild weather.
