Southeast Missouri State football standouts Marquis Terry, Kendall Donnerson, Drew Forbes and Zach Hall each earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors on Tuesday.

Terry was a first-team and all-newcomer selection, while Donnerson also claimed first-team honors. Forbes and Hall were named second-team All-OVC.

Terry, who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, was the only player in the conference to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in rushing, finishing with a league-leading 1,076 on the season. He carried the ball 239 times and averaged 4.5 yards per rush, finishing with seven touchdowns. He ranks 13th in the Football Championship Subdivision in total rushing yards and is 16th in rushing yards per game (97.8).

A 5-foot-6, 179-pound junior, Terry started all 11 games at running back after transferring to Southeast in the offseason by way of Highland Community College in Kansas. He rushed for over 100 yards on four occasions, including a season-high 184 yards against visiting Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 30. Terry also had 20 receptions for 109 yards.

Donnerson finished third on the team with 53 tackles, including 36 solo stops. The 6-2, 248-pound native of Maumelle, Arkansas, is fourth in the league in tackles for loss (13 1/2) and seventh in sacks (six). He wrapped up his senior season with three forced fumbles (second in OVC), one interception and three pass breakups.

Forbes is a 6-4, 306-pound junior from Bonne Terre, Missouri, who started all 11 games at left tackle. He was part of a Redhawks offensive line that allowed just 14 sacks on the season, third-fewest in the OVC.

Just a sophomore, Hall (5-11, 238 pounds) didn't miss a start at inside linebacker and finished the year with a team-high 79 tackles, including 38 solo stops. The native of Louisville, Kentucky, led the Redhawks with 15 TFLs and nine sacks (21st in the FCS). He also forced a fumble and blocked a kick, turning in double-digit tackles in four of his final five starts.

Jacksonville State RB Roc Thomas was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year, while Gamecocks defensive end Darius Jackson earned honors as Defensive Player of the Year. Austin Peay quarterback Jeremiah Oatsvall was selected as OVC Freshman of the Year, and Governors head coach Will Healy was chosen as Roy Kidd OVC Coach of the Year.
