SEMO Rainmakers will be hosting a youth basketball league for girls and boys grades K-2. The league is open to anyone in the Cape/Jackson region and surrounding areas. Early registration opened October 5th. This league has been formed to offer an opportunity for basic learning of basketball mechanics. Upward Sports will no longer be available in the area so we were prompted by schools and parents to fill this void and look forward to building a strong foundation in youth sports in Southeast Missouri. How many games will be played ?

It's an 8 week season. Kindergarten and 1st grade will play one game each week all 8 weeks. The 2nd grade coaches will be given a chance to do the same or may choose to do a single elimination bracket tournament week 8.
