• Cool to see Jackson ranked again. While I know polls mean very little it is the third year in a row they have been ranked at some point in Class 5!

  I must admit that I am a fan of the athletics and how Jackson seems to be annually strong/solid in several if not all of the teams that they field/offer for competitive purposes. I would be willing to wager that the people of Jackson and/or the area they get their students from are direct or indirect relatives of Jim Thorpe, Vincent Jackson, Mildred Ella Didrikson, Jackie Joyner-Kersee; heck, Sport Lilly and Sport Billy, for that matter! It would be nice if a thread or book or whatever discussed the overall most successful athletic program in southeastern Missouri...I apologize, y'all. My sports nerdiness (or simply nerdiness) is being displayed...

• I didn't say that i think either of them could be ranked. I was just stating that it doesn't matter if PB beat NMCC and St.Charles there in different classes it has no bearing on what those 2 are ranked and like yah yah said polls really don't mean squat.
