As we all hash out who is the best team in this area, DeSoto and Farmington try to prove that Mineral Area will have our number in basketball this year. Where would you put these teams in terms of Southeast Missouri? I'd say they are below Sikeston and SCC. But I'm not sure they wouldn't beat Charleston, Jackson, Cape, etc. Your thoughts?

Mineral Area vs. Scott Co. teams?? That's funny. You could take the stars from those two areas and my money is on SCC/SHS. Hands down. No chance. SEMO is more dominant. Easy.

I think the matchups between Charleston, Jackson, Cape and maybe a couple of the other solid local teams would depend on whether they were held in SEMO or Mineral Area. We all know the officiating is a bit tighter up north.
