Is it just me or is MSHSAA behind this year getting this done? Schools are starting next week and we still don't have this info?

They have changed the release time until after the first week of practice. They want to know which schools are actually going to have a team before they decide where and who the districts are, this is suppose to stop the problem like last year when class 1 district 2 Advance girls had the only girls team in the district and moved on to sectionals without even playing a game.

But that's going to be a problem with girls basketball, especially in Class 1 where most schools don't even field teams.

That's why they are waiting. They want to make sure they know all the schools that have teams.

You go West and North class 1 is full of girls teams in basketball. Around here it's pretty much volleyball that dominates small schools.
