  • I know 2 runs scored by Santa fe were by errors and i think the third might have been also. Not 100% sure but defense has been the story of the year for oran. 5 errors but excellent job by Moore on the mound

    In fairness to Wood Class 1 schools from southeast Missouri region rarely win state baseball titles. I think Advance was last Class 1 team to do it and it had a pitcher that eventually ended up in Double A the year it won state.

    Only Class 1 team from southeast Missouri that has won state in last 20 years was St. Vincent in 2000.
