  • Greenville 8 Cooter 2 Both teams had 9 hits, the Bears played errorless, the Wildcats made 4 errors.

    Clearwater 8 Cooter 7

Cooter led 7-2 after 5 but the Tigers made a late charge winning in the 7th. Bridges threw very well allowing 6 hits but a rash of Wildcat miscues took away a nice effort.

Good luck to Coach Hill and the Greenville Bears (very solid team). Also, thanks to Coach McAlister and the Tigers for a good day of baseball. The good competition always makes us better. They say that losing builds character, if so, pretty soon our character should be towards the top of the list.
