Cooter looks to be a lock to win this tournament. But Anderson maybe still out. Holcomb is the most rested with only one game last week and on a tuesday, also it's their spring break. They need to take advantage of that. Campbell looks to Joe to carry them past cooter in a three day period. That will be a tough task considering that having a Holcomb then a Cooter with one day rest. Considering both make past their first round games. So who is the champion?

Don't count Risco out just yet. They've been strokin the ball through most of their line-up.

No real need for a smart comment. If you dont have any interest in the topic, why be rude about it? I say that Holcomb wins considering that Anderson is out for Cooter.

At the conference seed meeting, the coaches gave a brief synopsis of their teams. We thought at the beginning of the season that a 17-6 record going into districts would be a good spring (with Anderson). We are 9-2 with the toughest part of our schedule remaining. In our last 4 games (Twin Rivers, Portageville, Senath, and Dexter are very tough teams for a Class 1 school. We are 2-2 in those 4. We think with Jordan we would have been at least 3-1, so yes, anyone that knows baseball realizes he would have made a difference. The bottom line for the Wildcats , without Jordan we are making progress, older players are stepping up their games, younger players are getting good at bats and making plays, whether it'll be enough to win conference or district, well, that's why you play the games.
FYI-Jordan is planning to throw today for the 1st time since the injury . We will not rush him back just to win. With his talent he does have a chance to play at the next level and we will not jeopardize that chance.
