Brian Rosener is the keeper of the Semoball Cup which is presented to the school with the most successful season. It is based on a formula that takes into account the combined winning percentage of all sports teams plus bonus points for advancement in postseason play for both teams and individuals. The bonus points are divided by the number of teams a school fields. Rosener has been the sports editor for the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since December 2001. He was born and raised in St. Louis, where he attended Lindbergh High School and Webster University. He is married to Jennifer, a Poplar Bluff native, has a son Jack and a dog named Satchel who stands in for his @semoballBrian photo.

Good news Mizzou fans?

This week's cover of Sports Illustrated featured this.

This fall SI has had USC on the Sept. 24th cover. And this guy.

The preview section had five covers -- seen here. Only West Virginia still has a chance at the national title game. Mizzou was ranked 26th while Kansas was 49th in the preview rankings.

The SI jinx took down the Rockies and the Phillies.

But it hasn't hurt the Patriots over, and over and over this fall.

We'll find out Saturday night.

Its been a weekend of upsets so far.I just hope this game is as good or better than LSU - Arkansas game last night!!!

I dont think its possible to get much better than the LSU/UA game...but it will be epic
