All-State soccer: Perryville's Anna Gremaud named Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year

Perryville's Anna Gremaud received first-team All-State honors and was named the Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year.

Perryville senior and Mineral Area College commit Anna Gremaud was named the Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association.

Gremaud and Perryville sophomore goalkeeper Brooklyn Moll were the lone players in the Semoball coverage area to receive first-team All-State honors. The Pirates had three players receive postseason honors from the MSCA, including junior forward Kyla Schnurbusch who was named to the All-State second team.

Jackson placed two players on All-State teams, with junior midfielder Justi Nelson receiving second-team honors and senior forward Abbey Klund earning an honorable mention.
