Boys Basketball Roundup, Dec. 6: Balanced Richland rallies to beat Bell City 76-45

The Richland Rebels used a balanced attack to open SCAA play with a 76-45 victory over Bell City on Monday night in a boys basketball game at Bell City High School.

Four Richland players scored in double figures. Jaden Pope produced a game-high 21 points, Damon Ivy and Jacob Walley had 19 apiece, and Hunter Sanders added 12.

Bryson Maddox paced Bell City with 16 points, and Nick Heuring had 10.

Bell City took the early lead, holding a 15-9 advantage after one quarter. Richland outscored the Cubs 24-6 in the second to take a 33-21 halftime lead. Richland stretched its lead to 61-36 after three quarters.

Bell City (0-3, 0-1 SCAA) will host Advance at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Richland (2-2, 1-0) will host North Pemiscot at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Essex.
