Boys Soccer Roundup, Oct. 14: Pirates bounce back in shutout of Farmington

Two days after the Perryville boys soccer team lost for the first time in 10 games to Jackson, the Pirates got right back up on the horse, beating Farmington at home on Wednesday, 7-0.

Perryville scored four goals in the first half of play followed by three more in the second half.

Bryce Brewer led the Pirates offensively with three goals scored, followed by Dayton Strattman (2 goals, 3 assists), Carson Adams (goal, assist), Adam Green (goal), Carter Blechle (assists) and Andrew Welk (assist).

Perryville (14-2) will play at 5 p.m. on Monday when they travel to Fredericktown to play the Blackcats.
