Girls Golf Roundup, Sept. 8: Notre Dame wins Ste. Genevieve Tournament

The Notre Dame girls golf team finished in first place at the Ste. Genevieve Golf Tournament on Wednesday, finishing with a combined score of 334, while Cape Central finished sixth out of seven teams with a combined score of 470.

Notre Dame junior Paige Compardo shot a tournament-low score of 71 while teammates Eliza Barnette shot an 82, Isabella Palmer shot an 86, Silvia Schallberger shot a 95, and Avery Bader shot a 100.

Cape Central was led by Jolie Kidd who shot a team-low 109, while Avery Huff shot a 115, Chandler Farless shot a 121, Kiana Newkirk shot a 125, and Sienna Hahn shot a 148.

Notre Dame and Cape Central will play Massac County on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Cape Girardeau.
