Boys Golf Roundup, April 7: Steady Bloomfield records 27-stroke win over Clearwater
Nathan Lockhart was one of four Bloomfield golfers to post rounds in the 40s in a three-team match at Crowley's Ridge Golf Course on Tuesday in Bloomfield.
Lockhart shot an 8-over 43, and Clearwater’s Nate Norris won medalist honors with 42.
Bloomfield shot 181 and Clearwater totaled 208. Senath-Hornersville only sent two golfers to the match, not enough to qualify for a team score.

Malden Quad
Caruthersville posted the top team score at a four-team golf outing Tuesday at Malden.
Caruthersville shot 217, NMCC placed second at 227, Malden finished third at 232, and Doniphan compiled a fourth-place team score of 277.

Jackson takes Farmington event
The Jackson boy's golf squad faced no shortage of competition on Wednesday at the Farmington Invitational at Crowne Point Golf Club.
The Indians were one of 19 squads hitting the links and came away with the top team score of 329.
The Indians outshot runner-up Lindbergh (335), as well as area squads Dexter (4th, 348), Notre Dame (9th, 374), Sikeston (13th, 392), Kennett (15th, 396), and Saxony Lutheran (16th, 422).
Indian senior Carsen Silliman earned medalist honors with an even par round of 72, which was three strokes better than every other golfer.
Silliman opened the day with a birdie on the par-5 first hole and added three more birdies on the back nine.
Bryce Norman added an 82 for Jackson, while Justin Berjer (87) and Evan Adams (88) also contributed.
Cy Worley shot an 81 to lead the Bearcats, while Dylan Sitze (83), Ryan Collier (84), and Matt Hardin (99) also competed.
Chase Logel led Notre Dame with a round of 84, while Beau Traxel (93), Sam Floyd (93), and Quin Hunter (104) also fared well.
Leighton Tarter was the top Sikeston player with a round of 89, while Peyton Spurlock (93), Andrew Faire (104), and Jay Lape (106) also competed.
Joe Wilson led Kennett with a score of 89, while Will Johnson (97), Dax Sutton and Ryan Creed shot rounds of 105.
Abby Ruehling paced the Crusaders with a score of 101, while Caleb Hasz (104), Gavin Boehm (106), and Michael Hasz (111) also played well.
