Boys Tennis Roundup, April 1: Dexter routs Cape Central 8-1 in season opener

The Dexter boys tennis team captured a pair of tight doubles matches and rolled through the singles round en route to an 8-1 season-opening victory over Cape Central.
Ryder Boles and Peyton Boles needed a tiebreaker to beat Jacob Ford and Mohamed Roumany in No. 1 doubles 9-8 (7-4), and Jackson Allen and Drew Chamberlain defeat Ibrahim Ahmad and Calvin Brunkhorst 8-6 in No. 3 doubles.
Dexter’s only loss came in No. 6 singles where Brunkhorst defeated Chamberlain 8-6.
