VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Lady Royals Classic semifinals

Top-seeded New Madrid County Central will face defending champion Neelyville in the championship game of the 2020 Lady Royals Christmas Classic.

The third-seeded Tigers beat host Twin Rivers, the No. 2 seed, with a 68-50 win Tuesday night in the semifinal.

The Eagles held off Doniphan 51-46 in the other semifinal.

The championship game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The Eagles (8-2) will be seeking their first Classic title after reaching the final for the first time since 2000.

Neelyville (7-2) advanced to the final for the eighth straight year and is seeking its fifth Classic title.

In other games Wednesday, Twin Rivers and Doniphan will play for third place at 6 p.m. after the fifth place game featuring East Carter and Dexter. The consolation final, which starts at 3 p.m., will feature Kennett and Kelly.
