Girls Basketball Roundup, Dec. 10: Puxico grabs first win of season, advances to Chaffee consolation final
The Puxico girls basketball team won for the first time this season, beating Bloomfield 46-20 Wednesday night at the Lady Red Devil Classic in Chaffee.
Puxico (1-4) will face Chaffee for the consolation championship at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Bloomfield (0-4) was eliminated from the tournament.
Kaly Haynes scored a game-high 10 points for the Indians with Austin Harbin adding eight.
Abby Brown paced Bloomfield with nine points.
Puxico held quarter leads of 11-4, 30-8 and 39-15.
