PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL: I plan to attend Southeast Missouri State University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

WHAT DO YOU MISS ABOUT SCHOOL: I miss seeing my friends every day, and I miss attending academic team practice every day at lunch.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF THIS SENIOR YEAR: I learned that I have the ability to be a leader. During soccer practices, my teammates looked up to me and viewed me as a leader.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST SPORTS MEMORY: My favorite memory was my first career goal. I am a defender, so I do not go up and score. It was the first game of my sophomore year. We were playing against West Plains, and we were up by five or six goals. I figured I should just make a run and take a shot. We play on a football field, and I was at the 40-yard line. I ran up to the 25 and looked up at the goal. I took a shot, and it bounced off the goalie’s hand and went in. I felt great, and everyone on my team ran up and hugged me, even our goalie. It was the only time that game that everyone huddled up and celebrated a goal.

IS THERE A SPORT YOU WANT TO TRY: I want to try table tennis because my uncle and his family have table tennis at their house, and I am not too bad.

ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES, HOBBIES: I am involved with Academic Team, Math Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society.

PICK ONE — PLAY YOUR SPORT ONE LAST TIME, ATTEND PROM OR HAVE A GRADUATION CEREMONY: Play soccer one more time. I went to prom last year, and getting all dressed up is not my favorite. Graduation is very long, and I will get college graduation. I want to play with my team just one last time because I know I will miss them.
