Campbell guard Blake Fowler scores 1,500th career point in win against East Prairie

CAMPBELL, Mo. - The points keep piling up for Campbell Camels junior Blake Fowler.

The standout guard scored the 1,500th point of his varsity boys basketball career in a home game against East Prairie Thursday night.

Campbell improved to 15-5 as it beat East Prairie 68-35.

Fowler, who needed nine points to reach 1,500 entering the game, paced Campbell with 16 points.

Skylar Morrison and Gavin Biggs also scored in double digits for the Camels with 13 points each.

East Prairie (7-13) did not have a double digit scorer as Jack Scruggs led the Eagles with eight points.

Campbell’s next game will be Saturday when they take on Meadow Heights. East Prairie hosts Kelly Friday.
