David Layton led Oak Ridge (11-6) to a 70-61 victory with 37 points (including four three-pointers) against Kelly (11-8) Friday.

By halftime, the Hawks and Bluejays were 37-33, but Oak Ridge came out of halftime firing to take a double-digit lead the host squad never surrendered.

Gavin Jansen scored 29 points in a losing effort for Kelly, including two three-pointers.

The Hawks will play in the Scott-Mississippi Tournament beginning Saturday.

The Bluejays plays Meadow Heights Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Parker Watson also had 17, knocking down three 3-pointers in a losing effort for the Royals.

East Prairie plays in the Scott-Mississippi County Conference Tournament starting this weekend.

The Royals play Naylor Monday.

Malden will play in the Bootheel Conference Tournament

Doniphan will play Neelyville Tuesday.

A late charge by Eagle Ridge came up just two points short. Mississippi Valley built an initial six-point lead and stretched it to ten after three quarters. The home team chipped off all but a field goal as time ran out. Rachel Margrabe led ERCS with twenty-three points. A trio of players all hit double-digits for the victors led by Rachel Graworski with nineteen.
