The duo of Mistavia Murray and Ashanti Jones led Charleston as Murray had a game-high 28 points and Jones chipped in 19. Advance’s Alandry Below had 22 but no other Hornets reached double digits.

The Blue Jays next game will be at New Madrid County Central on Thursday, while the Hornets will be at Delta on today.

Scott County Central (8-2) earned a home victory against Oak Ridge (2-10) on Monday.

Bailey Brewer got two 3-pointers for the Bluejays, bringing in 8 points total of their 19.

Ending the first quarter with only 5 points, Oak Ridge rallied and got to 14 points by halftime.

Micah Adams Scored 30 points for the Bravettes.

Scott County Central will play on today at East Prairie at 7 p.m.

Oak Ridge will play at Chaffee on today at 6 p.m.

The Rams had no answer for the Hawks duo of Alaney Moore and Allison Owens as Kelly picked up the double digit home win.

Moore poured in a game-high 31 points for Kelly (8-8) with Owens not far behind, finishing with 26. Kacie Daigger led Scott City (6-6) with 25 points, including five three-pointers.

Each team will have a quick turnaround as the Rams will be back home today to play Caruthersville, while the Hawks will travel to Oak Ridge on Wednesday.

Oran will play at Meadow Heights Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

Saxony Lutheran will play Cape Girardeau Thursday at home at 7:30 p.m.

The Eagles jumped out to a 20-4 lead after one quarter and never let up as they picked up the road win over the Bulldogs.

Katie Griffin finished with 23 points to lead Van Buren (5-9) but no other Bulldog reached double figures. Kaitlyn King had 26 points to lead Liberty (13-3) to the victory.

The Bulldogs will have some time off as their next game is February 4th against Lesterville at home.

The Redbirds outscored the Whippets 25-6 in the second quarter on the way to securing a pool play victory in the Black River League Tournament.

Levi Boyer and Dalton Rudd finished with 21 and 19 points respectively to lead second-seeded East Carter (9-5) to the victory. The duo of Carson McNail and Brycen King couldn’t quite match Boyer and Rudd but ended with 16 and 14 points for Ellington (6-9).

Both teams next game will be against Lesterville as the Whippets play them on Wednesday and the Redbirds will play them on Thursday.

The Bobcats jumped on the Cardinals early, scoring 20 more points than them in the first quarter.

Isaiah Thomas scored five 3-pointers for Delta, earning 25 points out of their 104.

The Bobcats will play at Kelly on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Woodland will play at Bell City today.
