DDD BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Hayti, Malden, Risco, and Southland collect wins

Hayti 61, Campbell 56

HAYTI, Mo. - The Hayti Indians varsity boys basketball team snapped the Campbell Camelsí eight-game winning streak with a 61-56 home win Friday night.

Campbell led 18-10 after one quarter, Hayti led 25-24 at halftime, and things were tied at 43-all at the end of the third quarter before Hayti won the fourth quarter 18-13.

Thomas paced Hayti with 21 points. McCoy also finished in double digits with 17 points.

Blake Fowler led Campbell with 34 points. Fowler made all dozen free throws he attempted.

Hayti (11-5) visits undefeated South Iron Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Campbell (11-3) hosts Caruthersville Tuesday.

RISCO, Mo. - The Risco Tigers varsity boys basketball team hit 13 3-pointers as it shot its way past the visiting Senath-Hornersville Lions 76-70 Friday night.

Risco jumped out to a 20-10 lead after one quarter and increased its lead to 59-44 by the end of the third quarter before Senath-Hornersville won the fourth quarter by nine points.

Andrew Rodgers paced Risco with 32 points. Kamron Meese tallied 21 points and Evan Pipkin finished with 16 points.

Parker Rhew and Knolan Hunter paced Senath-Hornersville with 22 points each. Isai Lopez also finished in double digits with 15 points.

Risco(7-6) visits Cooter Tuesday.

Senath-Hornersville (9-6) visits Portageville Tuesday.

MALDEN, Mo. - The Malden Green Wave varsity boys basketball team won every quarter as it beat the visiting Bloomfield Wildcats 62-25 for its third straight win Friday.

All 26 field goals the Green Wave made were 2-pointers. Coy Wade paced Malden with 23 points. Marques Jones added 17 points and Sientez Lerma also finished in double digits with 13 points.

Gage McNeil was the highest scorer for Bloomfield with seven points.

Malden (6-8) visits Hayti Tuesday.

Bloomfield (1-11) hosts Bernie Tuesday.

WARDELL, Mo. - The Southland Rebels varsity boys basketball team beat North Pemiscot 75-22 Friday night.

Hunter Wynns led all scorers with 28 points for Southland. Will Tomblin added 19 points and Cyrus Luke also finished in double digits for the Rebels with 11 points.

Matt Isaccs paced North Pemiscot with eight points.

North Pemiscot visits Clarkton Tuesday.

Southland visits Holcomb Thursday.
