DDD BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Senath-Hornersville boys beat Clarkton at buzzer 65-63, South Pemiscot girls edge Campbell 44-43

Senath-Hornersville 65, Clarkton 63

SENATH, Mo. - The Senath-Hornersville varsity boys basketball team rallied from 10 down at the start of the fourth quarter to beat the visiting Clarkton Reindeer 65-63 Monday.

Parker Rhew, who finished with 18 points, hit a 2-point shot at the buzzer to secure the victory.

Clarkton led 20-16 after one quarter, 32-24 at halftime, and 46-36 at the end of the third quarter.

Drake King hit five of his six 3-pointers after halftime for Senath-Hornersville. He finished with 18 points.

Knolan Hunter also finished in double digits for the Lions with a dozen points.

Caleb Plunkett paced Clarkton with 19 points. He scored a dozen points in the first quarter.

Izaya Gorman added 16 points and Kevin Perkins tallied 10 points for the Reindeer.

Clarkton (4-7) hosts Risco Tuesday.

Senath-Hornersville (8-4) hosts Malden Tuesday.

STEELE, Mo. - The South Pemiscot Bulldogs varsity girls basketball team won the fourth quarter by one point as it edged the visiting Campbell Camels 44-43 Monday.

Tamiya Starks hit a field goal in every quarter to pace South Pemiscot with 14 points. Aliyah Taylor also finished in double digits with 10 points.

Gabrielle Nielson paced Campbell with 21 points.
