Miller Career Academy 61, Saxony Lutheran 54

Saxony’s late run left the Lady Crusaders a bit short. Miller Career Academy built a twelve point cushion going into the final quarter and the Phoenix held on for a

victory over their hosts.

Nailing eight treys and placing three players in double-digits was enough to overcome a twenty-six point showing by Saxony’s Emma Brune and eighteen by teammate Olivia Spanley.

The home team fell behind 30-23 at the break and 46-34 through three periods. A 20-15 run by Saxony in the final eight minutes wasn’t enough.
