DDD: Roundup: Risco boys basketball beats Bell City 92-55

RISCO, Mo. - The Risco Tigers varsity boys basketball team built a 24-11 by the end of the first quarter on its way past the visiting Bell City Cubs 92-55 Thursday night.

Four Risco players recorded at least 18 points. Andrew Rodgers tallied a team-high 26 points, Evan Pipkin added 22 points, Hayden Ludwig put up 19 points, and Kamron Meese scored 18 points for the Tigers.

Luke Nichols paced Bell City (2-6) with 23 points.

Jack Duenne also finished in double digits for the Cubs. He scored all 15 of his points on five 3-pointers.

Risco (5-6) visits Clarkton Tuesday.

Twin Rivers 44, Campbell 36

CAMPBELL, Mo. - The Twin Rivers Royals varsity girls basketball team built a 22-14 lead by halftime and hung on to beat the Campbell Camels 44-36 Thursday night.

Abbey Hester recorded at least one field goal in every quarter on her way to a team-high 19 points for Twin Rivers (7-8). Brianna South also finished in double digits for the Royals with 10 points.

Adrionna Pearson recorded half of Campbellís 36 points. She hit both of her teamís 3-pointers.

Campbell (4-5) visits South Pemiscot Monday.

Twin Rivers (7-8) travels to Greenville Tuesday.

Holcomb 46, Bloomfield 20

The Holcomb girls basketball team outscored the Bloomfield Wildcats by 21 points in the second half en route to a 46-20 victory Thursday night at Bloomfield High School.

The Hornets led 8-2 after one quarter and 18-12 at halftime before outscoring Bloomfield 29-8 in the second half.

Selena Burress scored a game-high 23 points for Holcomb (7-5) and Bailey Cupples had 16.

Jenna Yates paced Bloomfield (0-8) with 10 points and Adison Musgrave had nine.
