SD ROUNDUP: Owens, Moore have big nights in Kelly's loss to Twin Rivers; Madison leads Portageville to win over Twin Rivers

BROSELEY, Mo. — Allison Owens and Alaney Moore led the Kelly girls basketball team on Monday night, albeit in a losing effort to Twin Rivers.

Owens had a team-high 17 points, while also adding five steals, five assists, and four rebounds.

Moore secured a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Lady Hawks 62-54 loss.

Allison Riley scored 10 points to go along with a pair of assists and a pair of rebounds.

Mallory Glastetter had eight points and five rebounds as well.

Abbey Hester led Twin Rivers with 22 points, while Jaylynn Williams had 13 and Breanna South 11.

Portageville 45, Campbell 42

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Leading by double-digits heading into the fourth quarter, the Portageville girls basketball staved off a rally by Campbell to hang on to a win.

Garielle Madison paced the Lady Bulldogs with a team-high 14 points in Portageville’s 45-42 win over Campbell. She was the only Portageville player to reach double-figures in scoring.

Madisyn Townsend led Campbell with a game-high 16 points.
