DDD ROUNDUP:Three Kennett cross country runners medal at Woodland Invitational
MARBLE HILL, Mo. - Three Kennett runners took home medals at the Woodland cross country meet Thursday in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Kennett’s Larry Payne finished 10th, Kennett’s Alex Yates placed 17th, and Kennett’s Brett Bradley took 20th. No additional information or times for the meet were available.
“We had three that took home medals,” Kennett cross country coach Fred Garmon said. “I was proud of how they ran. That course is never easy but they attacked it on all aspects. It feels good coming how with a few medals. The guys are getting better every week and need to continue to get better so we can compete in the conference and district meets.”
Garmon said Kobe Patterson was held out of the Woodland meet due to back issues.
Kennett is back in action Saturday when it competes at the Farmington Invitational.
