Poplar Bluff's Jaden Deaton wins Ed White Warrior Invitational
ARNOLD, Mo. — Poplar Bluff’s Jaden Deaton won the Ed White Warrior Invitational on Friday in Arnold, Mo.
Deaton bested the competition by nearly 30 seconds, winning with a time of 16 minutes, 38.10 seconds.
The Mules finished seventh as a team with 185 points.

After Deaton, Aaron Taylor finished 47th in 19:40, Brent Worley was 52nd in 19:56.30, Tristan Gillihan was 57th in 20:22.40 and Wyatt Rowcliff was 65th in 21:21.60.
Not included in the scoring total, Ross Dare was 69th in 21:36.70 and Ashten Hayman was 78th in 24:45.20.
For the girls, who finished sixth with 128 points, Salah McCormack led the team in 21st place in 23:25.90.
Alexis Richardson was 34th in 24:57.20, Paige Bradley got 40th in 25:39.20, Tymber Colvin took 41st in 25:54.00, Julia Smothers finished 45th in 26:33.70, and Kenya Jones was 46th in 26:57.20.
