DAR ROUNDUP: East Carter softball stays unbeaten with walk-off in eighth inning

Ellsinore — East Carter softball got down early against Neelyville (0-3), allowing two runs in the first inning. The defense locked down, though, and the offense came around late for a comeback in extras. A grounder from Naomi Crowley gave Kennedy Thies enough time to reach home safely to cap a walk-off 3-2 victory in the eighth inning to keep the Redbirds (5-0) unbeaten on the spring season.

Makenna Moore struck out 10 in a complete game at pitcher while the rest of the defense played an error-free game.
